Carrie Timlin is an artist, curator and an undergraduate at the Michaelis School of Fine Art. She has currently curating a series of shows with fellow art student and curator Lilly Luz at Blank Projects in the Bo Kaap. The series of one nighters, aptly entitled Inchoate, Idiosyncratic Descent into Nihilism, is a series that commenced on the 20th of June 2007, with a better-forgotten exhibition by the inchoate, idiosyncratic and decently nihilistic Ed Young. The one night shows will be running for a period of six months closing with a final week long exhibition at the Michaelis Gallery. She has also collaborated with Andrew Lamprecht on an artwork entitled Os Vampiros for Robert Sloon and Ruth Sack's publication Stop Believing for the duration of 2006.
